Description

The college clinic has been in operation since 1991. The clinic utilizes traditional Chinese medicine to diagnose, treat and prevent illnesses in the human body.  At the ACAOM main campus facility, our student interns and professionals have treated over 90 different conditions and sees about 1,000 patients per month.

To make an appointment at our main campus, please call 713-780-9786.  The college clinic offers treatments by both interns and licensed professionals.

Treatable Conditions

The most common condition treated at the college clinic is pain management.  This includes back pain, neck pain, headaches, tennis elbow, arthritis pain, knee pain, sports injury, and others.  Women’s health and internal medicine cases are also very common, along with stress management and low immunity.  According to the World Health Organization, the following are treatable with acupuncture.

Services and Fees
Licensed acupuncturists are available for appointments at $60. Acupuncture treatments performed by interns under the supervision of licensed acupuncturists are $40. Senior citizens and public service workers receive discounted rates, please call to inquire.  The clinic accepts cash, flex cards, check, and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express).

Outreach Clinics

We also have outreach clinics at all five (5) Methodist Hospitals (Medical Center, Sugar Land, West Houston, San Jacinto and Willowbrook), the University of Houston Clear Lake Health Center, and the HOPE Clinic located in Southwest Houston. The ACAOM Clinic provides discounted services to seniors, students, and service individuals such as teachers, firefighters, and police officers. Our main clinic is open six (6) days a week and ready to answer all your questions and serve all your needs.
